hi
im doing a project on dotnet as part of uni .
its a very big project with 8 ppl working on it. and my supervisor has
asked
us each of us to specialize in any one area. we are all new to dotnet and
thought of
some specialization areas. cant think of many
webservices,
security
asp.net
what other areas could be there.
they could be small areas , considering the project is for 3 months only
and we have other subjects as well.
i am very interested in ado and sql server and would like to do something
related to that. but dont know what.
our project is developing an airport website and travel agency app with a
few facilites like
hotel booking, car rentals, parking, booking .

For starters....sto p messing around with your system time/date just to keep

These are the headers from your post.

The line marked 'Date' shows that, regardless where you actually, you
computer is telling the world that it is somewhere near the West Coast of
North America. The -0700 means that your timezone is 7 hours after GMT. You
post was sent at 2:20 pm on 12 September (your local time) which equates to
9:20 pm on 12 September GMT and further equates to 9:20 am on 13 September
in my timezone which is the time you post shows in my newsreader. Seeing as
how it it is still 12 September here and my time timezone is ahead of Sydney
then I am reading it 14 hours before I got it which (I think you will agree)
is not possible.

While you system time may be showing the correct time, your timezone is not
set correctly. If you are in Sydney with your timezone set sorrectly then
your post would have shown:

Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2003 14:20:23 +1000

and then it would have shown correctly in everyones newsreader.
