Help with error message

I have found some people on line who got this message
but they either got a semi-fix (works for a while then
errors again) or not a fix at all. Does anyone know a true
fix or anything for this problem with services?

System.InvalidO perationExcepti on: Client found response content type of '',
but expected 'text/xml'

I am glad I'm not the only one getting it but if
anyone can cure it, or how they cured it for themselves
it would be greatly appreciated!

I can cause this to happen when I mistakenly make my web service client
connect to a non-existent page on a valid server.
