XSLT Performance Software

Does anyone know of a good tool (preferably free) to gauge how my XSLT
is performing? Mainly, I would like to know where the bottle necks are
and how different versions of the same style sheet are performing.

There are a number of tools are out there for profiling .NET
transformations , but the only "free" ones I know about are for other
processors. For example, you can use msxsl.exe to run your transforms
against MSXML, which will give you times for parsing, compilation and
transformation. This is probably only partially useful, because the .NET
processor is likely going to do things differently, and so the benefit of
one approach over another is relative. But it can be useful for
illustrating the effects of different approaches in a qualitative way.
