    .NET Programming Learning Material

    Hi,

Am a beginner in .NET. I need to start from the basics of C#, ASP.NET & VB.NET and gradually become an expert. Am looking for good learning material for the same. Can some one give me a good link? would be really really grateful

Here are some free sources of information:
    1. MSDN .NET Framework
    2. .NET Tutorials
Another way to go about it is buy books. When I want to pick up a language what i usually do is grab a learn in "Teach yourself in 24 hrs book" then grab a more advanced book about the langague. When looking for a good advanced book, it's always prudent to do your research. Amazon's comment systems helps out quite a bit.

    Hope that helped.

Anything written be Dino Esposito is excellent. He has tons of articles on MSDN and has written a handful of books

ha ha ha, http://www.google.com, I honestly don't know of a developer that doesn't use google. If you want to learn .NET, and not just learn but become a guru, look for some ebooks at thepriatebay.or g, you can get them for "free" so long as you have a torrent application (which is just a p2p client) I use azureus, and it works fine. Look for books related to becoming an MCAD, this is a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer. If you do well on the practise exam you should write the full exams, this is costly but will land you a job (if you're a pro) for around $80,000 a year. MCSD's (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developers) earn even more but this requires another couple of exams. It will cost you a bit to get in, but once you are, you will be well compensated.
