MySQL in cmd prompt

I typed "mysql" in cmd. and entered.
But it says { 'mysql' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.}
( I run mysql server first. but noy Apache.
How i go forward in this case?

what is your operating system?

If it is windows you will have to select your current mysql.exe location
