    Windows Mobile IE "Take control"

    Hello everyone,

my first post here, hope is the right place.

I need to develop a web-application wichi will run on IE on a device with "Windows Mobile".

IE will run in fullscreen mode, and is required that the user "cannot leave" the application (access other system functions/applications), unless he enters a password or something similar.

How can I configure the operating system or internet explorer to assure that user cannot access other application or other functions?

    Many thanks!
    Bogdan

Windows Mobile won't let you do this. It does not have a "kiosk" mode. If you want to build a kiosk you need to select a different OS, like Windows Embedded CE.

          Kiosk mode with SureLock Studio

SureLock Studio provides kiosk like execution framework for Windows Mobile devices where only "approved" applications can be used by the users. Check it out here:

Enable Windows Mobile & Windows CE kiosk mode for secure device management. Lock apps, boost performance, and improve security. Get started now!

You can specify \windows\iexplo re.exe to only allow Internet Explorer. If you want to disable the "tap and hold" menu on IE then write to support@42gears .com for solution.

          Thanks.
