Photoshop for Ubuntu

I am a website designer and one of my main tools was Photoshop, before i switched to Ubuntu 7.04
I do have gimp, but it lacks tools that i need, such as a box drawer (at least i cant find it). Is there any other program that is like photoshop? short of using wine.

Nope. Gimp is pretty much it, but not shabby at all.
You could look into ImageMagick but I don't know much about it. I know a lot of people use it.

While I haven't used it, you could install the GIMPshop plugin. It's supposed to tweak the GUI to give GIMP the feel of Adobe Photoshop. You can read more about it at gimpshop.com. Unfortunately, it's not in any of the standard apt/synaptic repositories so you'd have to do a manual install. They have a forum you could browse for installation help.
