    i want to learn linux

    hello i want to learn linux. i don't have any ideas regarding linux. please help me with some linux commands for the beginner.

      Learning a few commands does not teach you linux. You must learn how the whole structure is laid out, at least at some basic level. There are tons of books at the library and tons of tutorials that can be found with Google. Start there.

          Get a Linux live CD (for instance the Ubuntu one) in order to play around with Linux. (A live CD loads the OS into RAM instead of copying things to the hard drive. This allows for testing/playing around without changing your current system config.)
