Change styles on the fly

El.style.FontFa mily=arg1. I want a method that enables me to replace Font Family with an argument so that i can use the same statement to change any css property of an element.

I am creating a what you see is what you get editor like the one i'm seeing the problem is creating a js function for each style button. I want all buttons to call one function which identifies the style button then aply the style on selected text

I's only that I'm using a phone I'd have posted the whole project
