error:illegal character

Hello!
I downloaded java now twice, tested fine, enabled it & javascript in Firefox options, & from that time, whenever I visit Twitter & click on ANYTHING in Twitter, a small window that says 'Error:illegal character' (with an exclamation point in a little yellow triangle) pops up. So, I even UNinstalled java & reinstalled it again - tested it - says it is working fine, made sure it was enabled in browser, & it is still doing the exact same thing. FWIW, no one else on Twitter is experiencing this.
Any ideas or suggestions?

HI, I have experienced the same but not with twitter... its with some js code from some website.. The problem may be the js code has a variable which has reference to some other link or due to unhandled exceptions.. so no need to worry.. add try catch block for the js code and try it out.. it will resolve the problem.. its my suggestion not the solution...
