what for? by the way, javascript has very limited (if at all) access to the local file system.

If it's on the server, use the XMLHttpRequest object, i.e. Ajax, or add the results during page load (if it's not required after page load).

The first question is is this dll on the server? What exactly are you trying to achieve? What results do you expect from the C# dll and how will it be used in JavaScript? Post your code so far.
