Part 1:
Assume you are the technical leader for a leading software company.
The company planned to buy some new systems and install Operating
systems on them. You been asked to produce a report justifying your
choice and that the one you had given will suits the requirement well.
Your report must contain:-
• Title- As per the task assigned to you.
• Operating System to be Installed.
• Why you have selected that particular OS?
• Justification saying your selection would give the Best Performance.
• What the special feature of the system?

Task 1:
The graphics division in your company hired 4 new designers, now you
have to choose the right OS for these systems to give the best
performance. Note that the following software has to be installed:
1- Corel Draw
2- Photoshop
3- Flash
4- Dream weaver
5- Maya 3D Animation etc
Task 2:
The company want to install 14 computers for the back office staff.
Those computers will be used for the normal office tasks, and the main
software which have to be installed are:
1- Ms Word
2- Ms Excel
3- Ms PowerPoint
4- Ms Access
5- Ms Outlook
Task 3:
The company want to install 3 powerful computers for the network
administrative tasks. Try to choose the right operating system which
will enable the administrative staff to do all the required
administrative work to manage the company network.
Part 2:
You've been asked to research and provide the best backup solution for
each of the following:
1- for home with a single PC.
2- For an airline company which have all their databases stored in a
single server.
3- For a small business with a total number of 15 PCs and single
server.
4- For BTI students to backup the work they do at home and at BTI
computers.
You have to produce a report it must contains:-
• Title-as Per the task assigned to you.
• Which devices you require for the backup?
• Why you have chosen that particular method of backup?
• Justification saying your choice.
