The problem is not with your "internet", its with your browser.

Are you aware that forum4designers .com is a rip-off site that portrays
itself as a private forum when in fact its only providing you with
Usenet answers? This post (mine) is being made to
news:comp.lang. javascript, NOT to that website <puke> that claims to be
    a private forum.

This has nothing to do with the Internet, or the Java Run-time
Environment[1]. The problem lies with your browser, which you have
configured incorrectly, or a broken third-party script blocker.

[1] Java is NOT the same as JavaScript.

        Please answer the following questions:
        1. What browser are you using
        2. What version of the browser are you using?
        3. What Operating system are you using?
        4. What is an example of a page that fails to work?
        5. What is your ISP password (just kidding... dont answer that one)

With this info, _maybe_ we can help you, but you might be better off
talking to your ISP, since their software likely confured/installed your
        browser.

To the contrary, I need to know *none* of that to answer the question.

The solution to the problem may/may not be answered by knowing any of that.

Give you 5 to 1 odds that JS is disabled in the browser though.

Usenet posts should be formatted with a plain-text right margin of about
            72 characters.

The correct signature separator is as below.

            Java is not javascript.

            Your spelling checker is broken.

You should have stated the operating system and browser version in use,
and given the URLs of the sites.

That is why I stressed "_maybe_ we can help you" ... if we know that
information, we might be able to determine that the browser is
antequated... or if we know the browser we can tell how to turn on JS...

I see nothing wrong with my post, and I agree with you...
