Window.close()

Hi,
I am trying to close the window through JS but IE always ask me for confirmation. Is their a way to do it without IE asking the user for confirmation.

no ... you cannot close the main browser-window silently through javascript ... and you shouldn't :) ... since the user opened it and he should know when it will be closed. you may close all windows that are opened by your script ... :) but not the main-window ...
