    javascript to applet speed

    the JavaScript call applet method is fast in IE but very slow in mozilla
    browser.

    any idea to get it faster in mozilla?

      I've had similar problems with Java applets and Liveconnect in NN7+ and
      Mozilla.

      My impression is that the Mozilla folks want people to use xpcom and xul
      over Java when write applications in mozilla. You can search the web for
      references or I can provide you with a few.

      Maybe, someone will enlighten us on the Mozilla/Java integration
      situation.
