    BOM and DOM

yesterday night i read about BOM and DOM.
i mean BOM as browser object model and DOM as document object model.
today i knew that BOM is standard for all bowsers .. which is standardized by ECMA.....
only DOM varies from one browser to another browser.
    that's where cross-browser comes.
    m i right ... ????
if anything dtls u have guys then plz tell me the dtls story about these two key terms in JS.

    kind regards.

See this link - it's a bit old, but it points out a few differences. Also, see the definitions of BOM and DOM in the following link.

what a fantastic link u have sent ACODER.
i think if i read these two links well then there ll be confusion about JS and cross-browser supported JS.

okk ... have a good day.
      thanks anyway.

      kind regards.
