how to maximize a window using js

how can i do this using JS

try this

    var opSub=window.open("about:blank")
    opSub.window.moveTo(0,0);
    opSub.window.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)

That doesn't maximise the window. It simulates the maximisation. Also, some users can prevent this from happening. See this thread.

Of course, despite all that, it may be exactly what you want!
