graphic designer lost in java script

I have a proposition for all here.
I am a graphic designer who is really stuck with some basic javascript.

I was rather amused to read this requirement, which if interpreted literally is quite impossible.

For the purposes of this exercise, I think the best that would be expected of you, would be to search for two
separate words each of at least 2 characters; however it's difficult to recommend a method without knowing how
much you are expected to know.
