    alarm: JavaScript Application Undefined, wire_poll

    1. If this is OT please point me to the correct ng.
    2. I don't know what javascript is, what it does, how to read it, where to
find it or what to do with it.
    3. Metacrawler was no help.
    4. I'm using XP Home, FireFox, ThunderBird and Gravity.
    5. How do I clear the problem causing the alarm?
    6. Please, keep the flames civilized.
    7. I thank you.

That depends upon your question. What *is* your question?

Do a search of Google. Or, heaven forbid, read the group FAQ.

It is not; there is no single one; but I'd have chosen microsoft.publi c.
scripting.(jscr ipt|was), if I knew nothing more about the situation than
you have stated. You did omit to say when the message appears.

If the problem correlates with a specific application, seek a
      corresponding newsgroup.
