    Question

    Is there anything that can be added to this code to disable right click on
    images or hyperlinks to hide the status also?

    function hidestatus(){
    window.status=' Done'
    return true
    }

    if (document.layer s)
    document.captur eEvents(Event.M OUSEOVER | Event.MOUSEOUT)

    document.onmous eover=hidestatu s
    document.onmous eout=hidestatus

    Actually, I get ticked off by that trick.
    Besides, what ever I can do in the right click menu, I can do in the
    browser menu toolbar just as easily.
    Such as file>>save as>>entire page complete.
    Guess what? I just snatched your entire page.
    But then again, I already have haven't I?
    Clear out my temp internet files, refresh the page, and bingo!
    I have your prescious images, easily found and moved elsewhere.

    If you don't want it stolen, don't put it up!

        Possibly, if you would adhere to usenet netiquette and quote a relevant
        pert of the posting you are replying on. And of course have a meaningful
        subject text.

          When posting to this group, please quote relevant text from the previous
          post.

          What Richard posted *was* helpful when you boil it down to the basic,
          "don't". I can see no logical reason why you'd want to block two very
          useful user interface elements: the status bar and the context menu.

          If you think you will obtain some kind of content protection by
          interfering with these features, you are *very* much mistaken. All you're
          doing is obstructing and annoying your users. Without some kind of
          explanation, I would actually be disappointed if someone gave you the
          answer you seem to be looking for.

            Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

            You'll get both sides of the argument from all over the world.

              Not really, though you could google for a no-right click script, useless
              as they are. Read this, too:

                Note that the so called rtsfaq was written entirely by Steve Burnett "Just
                Taylor" of Sunnyvale, Cal. Not Jeffrey Smith as claimed.
                Taylor is known to document others using fabricated stories and taking
                material out of context.
                If you read several of the actual posts I made, you will soon realize that
                "Just Taylor" loves to create lies and inuendos.

                "Just Taylor" has not been heard from in over a year.
                Why? Because this crazy kook exposed him as Steve Burnett.
                Seems that Steve went and got himself a ham radio license, then used the
                same address on the application as he used for www.lart.com .

                Anyone who mirrors the rtsfaq has no idea that they are playing ball with a
                certified lunatic. Not to mention one who befriends a registered child
                molester.

                  I see the opposite. The RtSFAQ confirms what people think of you.
