I believe it's a problem with Google Groups. If you look at the Path
header, each repeat post has a different value.

Replace ".invalid" with ".uk" to reply by e-mail.
This news server is not very quick.
At least in my case I'm using Outlook Express for direct posting from
Germany, and some of my postings appear with 5-10 min delay.
I guess some posters are not patient enough and keep reposting until they
see the result (mimic behavior of torturing Enter in the browser address bar
:-)
I'm pretty sure it is because the new google groups version.

Its Google Groups. Either they have lots of clueless newbies rapid firing on
their POST submit buttons, or something is more seriously wrong with their
system. I'm making my objections known (with message ids) to groups-support@google. com, I suggest you do too.
