    Compatibility with XHTML concern

I am converting a web site into transitional XHTML v.1.0
The onmouseover onmouseout thing isn't allowed with XHTML. Is there a way
to turn around and either use other arguments, or include a .js file ?
What would you do in this case?
    Thanks, Charles

Yes they are, but they must be lower case.
