Struts, Hibernate and Eclipse are not tied together like some product that has to learned together.

You are still not getting it. You are asking the wrong question.
If you want to learn struts read a struts tutorial.
If you want to learn hibernate read a hibernate (or JPA) tutorial.
You learn all these by trying out examples running them in an IDE e.g Eclipse.
