Problems with RTFTemplate and UTF-8 chars

Hi,

I have a solution based on RTFTemplate for generating RTF documents based containing UTF-8 strings from my Java model.

But as far as I have tried, RTFTemplate does not seem to support UTF-8.

Any idea or previous experience?

I have used as well RTFTemplate in the past.
A solution would be to write an adapter that prepares your content to be merged with the template and, in this adapter, you will need to encode your chars. Encode to Unicode will not help, you need specific rtf encoding. You may use for example itext-rtf. See for example more details at http://www.zetucu.ro/rtf-character-encoding/
