    How to start learning Java?

    I learn HTML. Now i would like to learn java. how can i start java as a beginner? Please help me and also inform me what types of books are necessary to learn java.

          Purchase a nice book and start self study. I prefer "Head first Java" and "Java Complete reference"

              If you can afford it I would recommend something like Firebrand - I have no affiliation with them but did do the SCJP course with them and it made a load of difference.

              The other thing I used is the SAMS 21 days books - Java and J2EE.
