I'm new to business component development and I need to know what is the deferance between EJB and Hibernate? Can some body explain me what is the benefit of migrating from EJB to Hibernate? Is there any benefit when considering security or speed? If there is,..could you please explain it with a little comparison of EJB and Hibernate?
For Security-Hibernates Or EJB?

I think the two can go one in hand, since they don't serve the same purposes, migrating to me it doesn't make sense of your question because EJB is a componets architecture while Hibernate is a frame work, I know I don't give the details of how they do it but this should be your homework

Thanks for your reply! It might seemed to a stupid question for you, but I knew nothing about Hibernate framework! Some people have told me that their companies are now using in the place of EJB.So I thought that Hibernate is a new and replacement for EJB.Yesterday I learnt some about Hibernate frame work. But I'm a little confused whether EJB would become a dying technology or not when people move to such frame works. It's better using Hibernate as we can keep the Model classes mapped to each table. But can't make out any advantage of giving up EJBs when using Hibernate. If you can help me, please tell what is the best implementation? only EJB? only Hibernate? or EJB with Hibernate tier in between The Data Base and the EJB(Can we do that for maximize portability and security or it's useless)?Comment
