    conversion of unix time format

    help me out to convert this unix time format into windows in java
    ex. 1075329297.572 (unix time format)

    There's a constructor for Timestamp which you'll find useful.

      I thought that a unix timestamp was simply the number of seconds since epoch
      0:00am jan 1st 1970 and that the fraction part was just a (sql) extension to it
      but maybe I'm completely wrong ...

        What calendar date do you get for that UNIX timestamp? Using java.util.Date, I see that is in Jan 2004...
