Question about the object-relational mapping tools.

i am a Java Programmer, i want to know something about the object-relational mapping(orm) tools, the question i want to ask is, is hibernate a plug-in to vp-uml CASE tool and Middlegen ??

imho, Hibernate's homepage is the best place to find information.
