I have a java game project and basically it's like a gold reeler game where the player manipulates a cart with a claw to get the gold in the mine. I managed to get control the cart but I really don't have a clue how to control the claw. It's supposed to go down when the user press arrow down and to go up when the user press arrow up. The thing is the claw is an gif image. Can this be done? retracting the claw/image? or do I have to draw the claw in the applet for it to work. Guy's please help me.
