variable>>textbox??

ok, I have 2 pages, one has a code on it, and the other has a textbox with a button....... I wanna make it so that when you press the button, whatever is on the textbox will be the value of the variable "cn"(the variable used on the other page)..... so, the code I'm using sets the variable values on the page and then has a line of code that loads it from my server.... It uses the variables that the code has set.. so the "cn" variable is also included to it....
