All of Swing is single-threaded and most of it isn't thread safe. Swing supplies
you with a bunch of helper and utility classes to cross that thread boundary and
play it safe according to the rules.
Although this is the basic design principlie for the Swing windowing system
I'm sure you're much better off reading some tutorials about it first.
