Usually reverse and set up with the DNS server. Do you get an error message with www?

As far as I can see, its a DNS entry that is required and has got nothing to do with IIS.

Just Make a www "DNS Host record entry" that points to the IP of the site.

It has something to do with IIS when you need to put in both host headers, with and without www :o).

If you are not using DNS ... then you will have to tweak your HOSTS file to achieve the same...
