    Hi poopsy,

If it your OS is Windows XP Pro with IIS5.1 or IIS6, then go to any open Explorer window > Tools > Folder Options.
Up will pop the Folder Options dialog. Open the View tab > Scroll down the list until you see "Use simple file-sharing (Recommended)".
Uncheck the box and click OK. Your PC might require a restart but shouldn't.
If you then right-click on your wwwroot folder and go to Properties, you should see the tabs General, Sharing, Security, Web Sharing, and Customize. Go to Security, and look for the user "Internet Guest Account (IUSR_MACHINENA ME)" (MACHINENAME being substituted by the name of your PC).
When you select the IUSR account, ensure that in the permissions list, Write and Modify boxes are set to Allow.

P.S. Moved and copied to IIS Forum and Windows Forum.

    Best regards,
