    Alterative XML messaing instead of SOAP

    I was wondering if there are alterative xml messaing instead of SOAP, if their are what are the advantages / disadvantages ?

      I would look into JAXM, this API is more straight forward

          since SOAP is mainly used in relation to webservices you may be interested in REST ... you may google for more information regarding this or start to get a quick overview here
