Try putting the machine in safe mode and deleting poogs.vbs that way.

      This may work...

Also try removing it from the system startup...
      START > RUN >
      type msconfig

      remove it from startup tab

if that doesnt work u can so to start/run msconfig and go to startup tab and then unselect them all and reselect them if u know what they are only. that normally will tell u what and where the problem is

and if you can, see whats in the VBS file by right-clicking and sending it to a text editor (DO NOT double-click it). id be curious to see what the hacker dirtbag was trying to do.

I'm going to move this from the VB forum to the miscellaneous discussions one, since it's about an infected PC and not a VB-specific issue.

Also, I'd recommend you go try McAffee and various other anti-malware places to see how to get your PC cleaned up. I seem to recall AdAware is fairly good at identifying and describing this sort of problem. And I think it also tells you how to clean up the mess, though I think you have to buy the product if you want it to do the clean-up for you.
