    Half Life 2 - Portal mod

    On another forum I am working on getting a mod working for Half Life 2. It involves adding the gun from Portal to Half Life 2 however there is many differences between the two games. We have everything working other than being able to go through the portal themselves. Normal objects can go through but enemies and the player cannot.

    I am convinced its either the startup DLLs or the some type of global actors script.

    From the video it looks like the player can go through the portals. So I'm not sure what your post is about. Did you have a question?

      The video was made using the primotech method for putting the portal gun into the game, which however is very buggy. The enemies can't shoot you, alot of dialog doesn't work, and the character sometimes falls through the floor.

      What I am asking is for someone to help out with designing another mod that works better. We are almost done with it however there is a few things we cannot do. Most of us have no experiance in C++ or making DLLs.
