Hi,

I wish to develop a software to poll any POP3 email account (such as yahoo, bluebottle) and save any new incoming email message contents to a .txt file saved in the computer hard disk directory.

Can you advise me what programming language i can use and any detailed sample codes for my reference?

Hi,
I think you are triyng to implement pop client application, so better you can go to any GUI language like , java,.net.vc++, etc... mozila is one of the free and ver famous POP cilent. so you could refer Mozila.
