I am barely computer literate and by NO means a math whiz. For most of you, this will be not only a no brainer, but very boring. All I can do is HOPE someone will help me. I'm an old lady who loves to make quilts and quilt block patterns. Here is my question.
I make what is called a "disappeari ng nine patch" quilt block. It is made by using 9 squares of fabric of equal size, sewn together to make one block. That block is then cut precisely down the middle, then precisely across the middle, giving me four blocks. Those four blocks can then be arranged in different ways to get different designs. How many arrangements would be possible from those four blocks?
What to you is a boring question is extremely important to me. Please help.
Thank you,
