OK. I'm back in the team. But if someone thinks this is fun or some try to keeding whit me i will stop. We can't build a new OS. I need to know Assembly. SO maybe we can make a strong team and work to other projects. I'm steal learnig C++ but programming whit 0 and 1 is so hard. Maybe we will need some Expert whit more than 20 yars. The assembly in our country is learnig in the 18 yars old. I like to stady a lot. I like to know how is working every part in the hardware and sftware , but like you can see in our country it dosent have good profesors and school for computers. So i plan to leave my country and go to stydy in Serbia , Slovenia, England or . . . . But i think C++ is easy than VB. The first wrong step in programing i make is than I first start to learn VB , not C++. I ask my pofesor what is better C++ or VB. He said VB is better than C++ and you got all the command like in C++. But when i ask in what is build C++ he said that is build in C++ than all the students realize that profesori is wrong....

When I program in assembly I also find it very difficult to program with 1s and 0s. Then I talked with my professor and he said "There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't"

      He was a wise man.

I'd just like to clarify a couple of points.
        • There are actually 11 types of people. Those that understand binary, those that don't, and those that are sick of this joke.
        • In my (admittedly quite limited) experience, assembly programming very rarely involves using binary (0's and 1's). You typically deal with instruction codes such as "move" or "shift", and hexadecimal values.
        • VB is almost certainly easier to learn than C++. C++ probably puts more power at your fingertips, though you may be able to achieve the same with VB. But which is better is entirely a personal choice.

It certainly is your work that.

Now a reminder, read reply #182 again.

Better yet: Vace should read a book by Andrew Tanenbaum ('andy' or 'AST'), the
author of Minix in his book "Operating Systems, Design and Implementation" .
In his book he explains his micro kernel Minix. For starters, Vace might read the
famous fight between Andrew and Linus Torvalds, the latter being a fan of the
monolithic kernel operating systems. A good read.

              kind regards,

              Jos

What keeps you from ordering it or walking to the library? I'm not a bookshop owner. I own a cheese shoppe ;-)

I was raised modest Sir, but I assume you're in your purveyance to negotiate me selling you some cheesy comestibles?

                      kind regards,

Jos (never mind the Bazouki player ;-)

Sure it's not a "coffee shop", like the ones you Dutch people are famous for?

Yarr (no offence to Dutch people, Belgians do crazy things too, just can't think of a comparable one a the moment :D)

Possibly, I don't know it because I don't need "coffee". Bashing my head against the wall occasionally is enough for me :P

Yarr (only bashes his head for clearing his toughts, it really helps)

You're seriously asking why someone else won't pay money out of their pocket to ship a book internationally to a person they don't know when you obviously have access to amazon, ebay, etc...?
