Try this out;
In Microsoft Word, enter a field and type the following into the formula box:
Date /@ "gg"
There's loads of others too:
"ggg", "e", "n", "r", "rr" and I can't find anything anywhere to say what the hell they are - I came across it when I was trying to find the week number.

These are Word field codes - and yes, there are a lot of them. Check your help.
