New name for a Software Company

Hi,
My friend is running a Sofware company in small scale. Currently the name of the company is Sakthi Technologies. Now he wants to change the name of the company. It needs to be bit professional and mordern.

Can any one please suggest some names for this.

I agree that it's not who you are, it's what you do. He could go with the name he has without any problems. No matter what you name the company it's how you tell you message that make a name work.

Consider RCA Victor or General Motors or Westinghouse, these names do not say a word about what they do, but you know a great deal about them from the messages they broadcast. Perhaps a tag line "Software Development Associates" would help to tell a story along with the name.

How about "Bit Recycler" or "Bit Box" or "Dig-it" (like digit but said like "dig it") or "Dig-IT" if you are into the IT stuff. I got a million of em.
