Hi there,

Which lock are you referring to? The phone lock or the SIM lock? If it's the phone lock you need to send your phone to the manufacturer of at least to the dealer to re-write the frimware. If it's the SIM lock then you need to have he PUK <Personal Unblocking Code> handy in order to unlock your SIM card. If you don't have the PUK code you need to bring the phone to the service provider itself.

Hope your friend has not tried to unlock you SIM for more then 13 times. According to a friend of mine in the Telco industry, after the 13th attempt SIM cards will lock permanently, you need to replace your SIM card for good.

I think this only works for SIM cards manufactured by GemPlus, anyway, good luck to you.

Just try the respective SIM customer care.They definately guide you.

Once mine also locked even my third attempt PUK no is also wrong,but i unlocked it by calling the customer care.
they have their own default unlock procedure.100% they guide u.

u r trying to tell me that my sim is lock but actullay my phone is locked i had to put password for my security reason some one attampet to unlock the mobile more then 3 three there is warning that u have to put password only three times OK hope u understand i have mobile set is NEC e228

buy usb connector for your handset its not much costly and use the software to unlock your phone the software is also avlaible on the search as well u can locate it on the cd which accomanies your data cable.
