File Handlin In Perl

Perl script which makes changes in File1.txt according to the data in File2.txt

a) If data in File2.txt does not exist in File1.txt then the script should add the data to File1.txt

b) If data in File2.txt exists in File1.txt then the script should modify the data in File1.txt

c) The script should also write an entry to a log file for each entry added or modified

Below are the two files

File2.txt
Krishna:43304:B :S
Vipin:45454:B:S
Vishal:47856:M: S
Abhijit:45621:C :S
Sachin Bhilare:45471:B :S


File1.txt
Krishna:43304:B :V
Vipin:45454:S:S
Vishal:47856:C: V
Abhijit:45621:M :V
