    Yet another one... :)

This may be a feature of the software over which KUB has no control. But...

When one reads a PM, the count of outstanding PM's should be decremented on that page.

To explain: I was notified just now that I had received a new PM, and clicked OK to open it in a new window. At the top was an indication that I had another unread PM. Not too surprisingly, when I clicked that link, there weren't any.

Is it possible for the flag marking a thread as having been updated since 'I' last looked to have a colour that would stand out.
I'm findig with a quick scan that I often confuse it for the flag marking a thread as registered.
I know it doesn't look exactly the same but when scanning quickly through a large number having it highlit in (say) red or orange would make it stand out more clearly.

I've been thinking much the same thing. It would be nice if the two flags were better differentiated visually. But perhaps more importantly, those which have both flags (subscribed and new post) should be highlighted - say, the whole subject line in a different colour, or something. (Mind you, the "new post" flag still seems unreliable - in other words, it tells fibs.)

The ability to set such options for ourselves on the options page would be nice, too.

I'd actually quite like a cup of tea served with biscuits when I log on - if you could just arrange that KUB.

Good suggestion. A bit of money leasking out of the disk drive from time to time might be nice, as well. 8-)

Seriously though, I could really do without this advertisement which seems to have appeared at the top of the page. 8-(

Especially since it's urging me to register with theScripts so I can post messages. Didn't I already do that?

Actually I think it would be good if these flags appear in a fixed position relative to the thread title.

At the moment they appear just tacked onto the end of the second line which varies in length, if they could be right justified so these flags if present appear in a column at the right hand end of the second line I think it would make reading easier.

If possible I think it would be nice to have a 3rd flag indicating threads with no posts, I find it a little hard to pick out the number of posts to a thread from the information line. Even better would be a view you could go to that only lists threads with 0 posts.

Good point, and I'd have to agree.

Didn't the previous interface allow you to click on the heading to sort by (among other things) the number of posts? Perhaps we could just have that capability back.

That's weird. I logged out once and was shocked to see that sign-up thing at the top. That was the only time that I ever saw it, though.

Hey KUB, what just got bigger?

No, this is not a trick question. :)

I just noticed that suddenly I have to scroll down to hit Access in the list of forums on the right-hand side. Previously it was visible, just above the status bar.

There have been community forums added to the discussion zones that weren't there before.

Ah! The Introductions and Lounge, huh? Thanks.

Any chance we could get the Software Programmers Lounge on there somewhere, too?

Moving the lounges into their appropriate zones is under discussion at the moment. Should see some changes over the next couple of weeks.
