i have a web page but have lost all documentation about it. how do i retrive the ip adddress and who is the host.all info tregarding my web page. so that i can change items on it.

try pings your website
ping <myURL>
That should give you an IP address, then all you have to do is work out the provider from the IP address. Pinging again using the IP Address and the name lookup option might provide some clues if you are using virtual hosting.
For future reference, don't forget your host.
