        Hi Gil,

        to my understanding MySQL support text delimited files as of now.. if your data file is in the format of .txt/.csv/.xls then it should work fine..

        1st of all am a little unsure abt why you need the data to be stored in a .txt file?? can u pls explain to me abt the reason?? maybe i can give a better idea on how to deal with above mentioned issue.. hope to hear from u soon my fren..
