I want to check wheather a swf movie is runing from a perticular URL or not. plz tell me how to do this? In any case, if needed i will use other languages (XML, php etc) otherwise i am lest interested to do this.

Do you mean the URL of the page that embedded the Flash? Or the URL of the flash file itself?

I think i get what he is asking. He wants to make sure that the flash file is running from a specified url, ie (www.kestrel.co m/myprofile.html) , embeded in that page; and if its not being displayed from that url, the .swf file is not to be displayed. So no one else can download the swf and play it from their site. Correct?
