flash for a webite?

[pangsans]

hullo der!
i am creating a website!i need to small animations in each page so that i can keep the site lively!so how do i get started with this flash and can i use it in my website?

[kestrel]

first you need macromedia flash 8
you can get a free 30 day trial, or dish up $699

then try to learn basic flash animating techniques, using layers, tweens and stuff like that

http://www.newgrounds. com/collection/flashtutorials. html

this is a good place to learn because they teach the basics, plus some basic techniques to adding interactivity to your flash

hope this helps
