How to Create a Multi-Select Listbox in Excel Worksheet

I am an Excel newbie, but have a good amount of MS Access experience, including VBA coding. I need to create a worksheet with a multi-select Listbox column, which stores the multiple values selected by the user from the Listbox to another column on the form in the same row, separated by commas. Each time I create the Active-x control on the sheet, handles just show up on the control instead of actually being able to use it. I'm not sure how to get around that. In Access, there is an "After_Upda te" event for combo boxes and listbox controls, but I am not clear how I would save the values to the sheet in Excel VBA after a user has chosen multiple items from the listbox. Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW,

You must exit Designer mode, and the handles should go away. You should also be able to edit the control in Designer mode, to include adding Code etc., but you may already know this.
