Create button to copy values over worksheets

Hi, I'm looking to create a button which will copy values entered into particular cells in one worksheet to the next blank row on another worksheet.

Basically, I have a finance type spreadsheet whereby I use the first worksheet (called "Invoice") to enter in income and expenditure, then calculations are done on these figures, and then I print off the worksheet in an invoice style.

After that, I go into the next worksheet (called "Records") and type in the same figures just as a standard row as a record. As each row in the second worksheet is filled in manually, a third worksheet (called "Totals") automatically updates to show the total of each "Records" column.

I would like to create a button on the "Invoice" worksheet that, when clicked, copies particular cells to the "Records" worksheet and places those figures in the next blank row.

If it makes any difference, the cells to be copied from "Invoice", which there are four of, are randomly placed cells (not random in context, but don't run concurrently).

Thanks in advance for any help.

If I read your post correctly it sounds like you are doing the reverse of what would normally be done.

Normally the records sheet would be entered first with formulas for any calculated field.

Then your invoices could be set up as a template in Excel or Word using the records worksheet as your record source for a merge.

Actually, now that you mention it, I suppose it would be better to do it that way!

You know that way you get so wrapped up in some things that you fail to see the obvious? That's happened here! lol

      Thanks!
